MacKinnon Bros.: A Legacy of Trust and Quality Since 1979
MacKinnon Bros. Service Centre was founded in 1979 by Wade and Randy MacKinnon, two brothers with a passion for automobiles and a dedication to providing top-quality mechanical service to Islanders. Their journey began at the historic Irving Oil Tower Station, located on the corner of Euston Street and Queen Street. It was there that they built a reputation for honest work, expert repairs, and outstanding customer service.
As their business grew, Wade and Randy relocated their shop to the Irving Station on Grafton Street—next to where WashWorld now stands today. This move allowed them to expand their services and continue meeting the increasing demand for reliable automotive repair on Prince Edward Island.
The final move came when they settled into their current location at 419 Mount Edward Road, a place they still proudly call home. With over 45 years of experience, MacKinnon Bros. Service Centre has remained a trusted name in the community, offering expert mechanical services to generations of Islanders.
Throughout the years, MacKinnon Bros. Service Centre has been more than just a family business—it has been a team effort. Wade and Randy MacKinnon, along with all the trusted staff who have worked alongside them, have built a reputation for honest, reliable, and skilled automotive care. Their dedication and expertise have kept Islanders safely on the road for generations.
